It was an honor to meet Professor Wesley Uenten from SF State University and have this video conversation with my Sansei (3rd Generation Japanese American) Sisters, where we discuss and answer questions about our ancestors being interned during WWll and our film documentary, “Sansei Granddaughters’ Journey”.  December 2020

I was honored to partake in this video. We will Say Their Names, directed by film director, Kerwin Berk of Ikeibi Films, June, 2020.

 "Sansei Granddaughter's Journey"  2020


This is a trailer from the Sansei Granddaughter's Journey film documentary. In 2018 five Japanese American artists went on a pilgrimage together to Manzanar. It was a spiritual journey, a peek into their ancestors live's that led to a deeper understanding of their family history and injustice to all who were incarcerated. The full documentary will be presented at the Silicon Valley Film Festival in October, 2020.
